Model of Volvo FL12, version 8x8. Features all wheel drive, 4 wheel steering with different steering lock, full double wishbone independent suspension, remote controlled 4-speed gearbox with neutral gear, working winch, working fake R6 piston engine and working steering wheel. Vehicle is remotely controlled by mobile phone using Bluetooth connection. Both applications (mobile phone app and NXT app) are written by me in Java language (I used LeJOS to program NXT). Volvo has 4 motors total: - 1 NXT motor to steer wheels - 2 NXT motors to shift gears - 1 PF XL motor for propulsion (controlled by PF IRTower which is controlled by HiTechnic IRLink sensor which is controlled by NXT brick which is controlled by mobile phone which is controlled by me :) This truck is designed to participate in Lego Truck Trial races GPM (Grand Prix Mazovia) 2010 that take place in Warsaw, Poland.
