World's Longest G Scale Train with (1) locomotive!
World's Longest G Scale Train with (1) locomotive! Video Clips. Duration : 8.80 Mins.
This is the Longest G Scale Train on YouTube! This incredible 152 car train is being pulled by (1) single USA Trains Big Boy locomotive. On the third segment of this video, we swapped out the (1) USA Trains Big Boy for (6) Aristo-Craft Dash 9's. (2) Dash 9's probably could have pulled the train, but (6) locomotives looks much more impressive. Every car in this train has had the plastic wheels changed out to metal rolling bearing wheels and axles. And the funky LGB couplers were changed out to body mounted Kadee couplers. These (2) items alone almost doubled the wieght of each car. Had we kept the plastic wheels and LGB couplers on each car, it would have been alot easier to pull the 152 cars. But it would have been a lot more unrealistic too! Both the Big Boy and the Dash 9's are being powered by online batteries and they are being remote controled using AirWire. AirWire is the greatest remote controlled software out there. It does so many things! We feel the Big Boy could have pulled more than the 152 cars you see here, but some of the couplers kept failing. The preasure of 406 pounds on the first 20 cars is tremendous! It took us (9) takes just to get these (3) video segments because of the coupler problems. If we could solve the coupler problem, I really think the Big Boy could be pulling close to 200 cars all by itself! So we will work on that for a future pull. The Palo Verde and Southwestern RR really lends itself to pulling these long trains. We have extremely long ...

My name is Raul Oaida (from Romania) and this is my LEGO tribute to the end of the space shuttle era. Proving that although retired, this machine can still fly, albeit in toy form. The launch took place from central Germany (easy flight clearance) and reached a max altitude of 35000m. A 1600g meteo balloon filled with helium was used alongside a GoPro Hero, Spot GPS and of course Lego Space Shuttle model 3367. We launched it on the 31st of December 2011, the equipment was recovered via GPS tracking 240 km SE from a remote area. I wish to thank Steve Sammartino for the opportunity to do this project and the german airtraffic control for the understanding. This video presents a Magnetic Loop antenna controlled by an Arduino. The controller system receives a command via infrared transmitter similar to a TV remote control. There is a circuit responsible for the infrared receiver coupled to the Arduino. Every action performed on the remote control is sent to the Arduino and treated by a program I developed specially to control the stepper motor. That way I can move the capacitor clockwise and counterclockwise. The current level demanded by the stepper motor is high, you can not control it directly from the Arduino. To solve this problem, I used a circuit based on the ULN2003. To facilitate programming for the infrared receiver and the stepper motor, I used the public libraries for irRemote and Stepper (see references). With them I saved several lines of code. My Magnetic Loop antenna was based on models collected on the Internet. To facilitate programming for the infrared receiver and the stepper motor, I used the public libraries for irRemote and Stepper (see references). With them I saved several lines of code. My Magnetic Loop antenna was based on models collected on the Internet. Wick suggests dipping the pickle she eats for lunch in grain alcohol to get her drunk. Their plan fails when the cowboy again jumps Drew. He arrives very late, and Mimi seems to be on the verge of winning the job. Steve brings by some remote-controlled vibrating panties that may help her get pregnant. She puts them on to wear on the way home. Steve, who believed that Drew quit the manager job to spend time with Kate, is disgusted to learn that Mimi actually orchestrated his ousting. He throws away the remote in disgust. Drew retrieves it, and Lewis activates it and causes Mimi to embarrass herself in front of Soulard and the board. This was the second event in the 10th Scale Tough Truck Competition this year - and for a Truck to make it though this course - it has to be Rugged, Tough, a 4X4, and Completely WATER PROOF. For those poor Drivers that didn't get their rigs sealed up - or worse yet - that get dirt in their motors.. May suffer the consequence of a DNF "Did Not Finish". A DNF is scored against a Driver while competing. Im not too sure of how many points - but it cant be good. SO - The drivers were put to the test.. I was focused on filming the rigs getting though these Sloppy Pits of Despair - and WOW, what a messy Job. Congrats the the drivers.. and even more so to the Hosts of this Competition. SO SUPER COOL! The Next EVENT will be the Hill Climb. believe me.. Its gunna be GNARLY. Now I wasn't able to download the series on Wii ware, so I found it handy that they decided to release Bit Trip Complete. Bit.Trip is a series of simple yet addictive games and a nice through back to classic retro games such as pong and break out. The shining star of this series is the music. If you are a fan of chiptune and retro 8bit style of music, then the bit trip series is for you, and what makes bit trip complete a steal is there is a music soundtrack CD that accompanies the game. Additional features are online leader boards, challenge modes, tons of unlockable content and the addiction of difficulty modes that range from easy to a hard mode catered to more advanced players. In Bit.Trip Beat, you slide a paddle up and down the left side of the screen by tilting the Wii Remote. The goal is to bounce the projectiles that come at you back to the other side, sort of like an intense Pong practice session. Things start off simply, but you soon encounter increasingly complex patterns and trajectories that stretch the limits of your tilting abilities. In Bit.Trip Core, however, motion controls are left behind in favor of the precision of button pressing. In the video, we note that the massive protest this week against SOPA and PIPA should not merely be about government and corporate curtailment of freedom of expression on the internet. It also crucial that it be about resistance against an all-out effort by the elite and their technocrats to turn the internet into an all-encompassing panopticon surveillance and control grid. Contrary to common belief, the internet was not built to be a networked computer system designed to withstand a nuclear war, but as a surveillance and control grid. It was not happenstance that the platform found its way into public use. In addition to a master networked surveillance tool, the internet is now a weaponized system that will be used to take out enemies of the state, as the Pentagon made abundantly clear following a concerted propaganda campaign hyping the dubious threat of cyber attacks on the power grid and national infrastructure. The system is not designed to attack remote cave dwelling terrorists, as the government would have us believe, but those of us designated as domestic terrorists. Following the introduction of the internet and more specifically the world wide web in the early 1990s, the technocrats began engineering aspects of the surveillance and control grid that are now increasingly embedded in much of our everyday technology -- from "smart phones" that use GPS to track and trace our every move to home appliances networked across the internet and televisions with onboard ...
